Christ for Africa Mission issue 12/08

Issue 12/08 Merry Christmas & A Blessed New Year December 2008

If We are Listening, God Reveals Himself to us Every Day!..

As we come to the end of another year, 2008, we want to thank God for you, our Donors, Prayer
Partners, Pastors and Co-Workers.

2008 – has been a year of great blessing and we can bring a triumphant shout of praise to the Lord
for the great things He hath done in the hearts and lives of the Indigenous Church World, whom you have
been praying for and supporting with your financial gifts.

2008 – has been a year that we have come through to date without any serious injuries, casualties,
or major setbacks … it is a year that we can look back as we move forward, towards the mark of the prize
of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Our Vision is to take the gospel to the lost -Our Mission is to train the
disciples to become workers and to build churches, in doing so, God’s Word is established in the many areas
where the preachers take God’s Word and only Heaven will record the many hundreds of souls that have
been touched by them – through your prayers and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

CORN GRINDERS: During the last 5 years, more than 150 corn Grinders have been placed in strategic areas
and manned by Pastors and their staff in remote villages. Whereas to date we have approximately 8700
decisions that have come from these “Tools of Evangelism” 6400 have been baptized; 2700 have gone
through the School of Discipleship; At present there are over 1400 Cell churches- which is the foundation
for new churches to be planted.

DONKEY TAXIS: During the same period to date, we have 326 donkey Taxis; Of those Donkey Taxis we
have the following information: Except for Saturdays and Sundays, these donkey taxis over the last 5 years
have carried the sick and suffering; just under 7000 men and women who were unable to walk or bring
their corn for grinding … They have listened to the gospel being preached, they have surrendered their lives
to Jesus, got saved, baptized, and praise God, their names are written in the Book of Life…. During this time,
the donkeys have functioned in their areas, without the fatality of a single donkey dying or being hurt
in any way shape or form. … The little children love to see the donkeys, they run alongside them as they
carry people to and from church. These donkeys carry back to their villages – not only people, but 100 lbs
of life giving cornmeal, to feed their families.

MUSLIMS: Through your prayers and those on the field, many Muslim ladies have brought their corn to be
ground, received the Lord and over 2003 Bibles and New Testaments, Tracts, Booklets of Matthew, Mark,
Luke and John, have been given to these Muslim women, who have answered the 5 questions in each of the
gospel books to enable them to acquire a New Testament / Psalms Proverbs; Amazingly Pastors have
reported these ladies’ children are attending Sunday School, and after school Bible classes during the week.

11 Men Students and 7 Ladies graduating Dec 6, 2008. We will need 11 Bicycles, 11 Study Bibles, 11 Corn
Grinders and 11 Donkey Taxis to begin with … Pray with us that the finances will be forthcoming to equip
these young people to go to their villages to minister and extend the Kingdom of God – by bringing the Light
of the World to those dark corners who have not heard the good News of Jesus.

CHRIST FOR AFRICA MISSION: It has been our prayer in the past to equip every graduating student
with a Harvest Kit- $300.00 . A Harvest Kit contains: A Study Bible, Bicycle, Suit of Clothing, Shoes,
Lantern, Bull Horn, Tracts, 5 Witness Bibles, & Bedroll,

ANGOLA: We praise God for all the needs met in the Angola Bible College Project. Thank You.
7 Churches were established of which we have 3 church buildings. $1,500.00 is needed for the
material to build one church.

NAMBIA: The 17 churches in Namibia are growing steadily that were established during 07 and 08,
Although there is a diversity of languages in Namibia, we endeavor to plant a church for each tribe, in
so doing, eliminating any tribal conflict that may arise. We have done this over the years in other parts
of Southern Africa. This has been to the benefit of the African people and church in general.

PASTOR’S CHRISTMAS OFFERING: Thank you for responding again this year, to bless our Indigenous
Pastors and their families with an extra $100.00 gift at Christmas.
